Alcohol?
Hello! I'm just curious if anyone out there still drinks alcohol. I occasionally will go out with some co-workers or friends after work. If so, what do you all recommend for drinks? Rum and Diet Coke? My friend doesn't eat when she drinks. She said that the calories from the drink are more than she's supposed to have so she chooses not to eat. It's not that simple for me. I need to eat! Any comments are greatly appreciated!

I'll be honest, I'm not a big drinker. If I'm going to drink, it's going to be what I want with no regard to calories (other than tracking my drinks!) For me, that usually means a margarita. I occassionally drink other things, but usually only if I don't have an option. Otherwise I occasionally have a glass of wine.
I'm a wine drinker. If I think I'm going to have more than one, I have a spritzer, then I can have 2 drinks for the cost of one glass of wine. I don't like to drink much though, cause I'm a muncher when I drink.
I have always been a beer girl but trying to lose weight made it a bit complicated. I tend to stick to wine or diet rum and cokes like you said. My favorite mixed drink to make at home is Watermelon Vodka, Light Crandberry-apple juice, and diet Sprite. You cannot tell the difference!!
